Carl Potter
Paperback
Published in 2012, Form is an ambitious debut pamphlet from an intriguing new voice in British poetry. These fourteen poems document the emergence of a keen literary mind; unafraid to switch between piercing social commentary (often in the form of extended natural metaphors), tender reports on inter-family interactions (as in opening poem 'Explaining to Joshua Why Snowmen Have to Melt'), and generally, sheer revelry in the joy of language.
