About the author
Sue Wilsea was born in Portsmouth in 1952, and now lives in East Yorkshire. She has taught English in schools, colleges, libraries, community centres, prisons, and on the Creative Writing degree at the University of Hull. Her short story collections with Valley Press include Staying Afloat (2012) and Raw Material (2016), which was longlisted for the 2017 Edge Hill Short Story Prize.
