…and Other Poems on Aging. Pre-order now: for delivery February 2026

What does love look like in life’s later chapters? In this tender, mischievous new collection, Zack Rogow answers with the hard-won wisdom of a man newly single in his senior years. From the awkward hilarity of reentering the world of romance, to the sweetness of new connections, to the lively chaos of grandchildren, these poems celebrate aging with humor, grace, and an open heart. With deep affection – for all that has gone, all that remains, and all that still lies ahead – Rogow reminds us that desire, intimacy, and joy are ageless companions.

Praise for The Kama Sutra for Senior Citizens:

"The crystalline, layered poems in Zack Rogow's The Kama Sutra for Senior Citizens explore memory, history, and ageing, and are shot through with a gentle melancholy leavened by wit and eros. The last section of the book makes a delightful turn to the joys of newfound love in old age, the miraculous blossoming that can occur when two lovers find each other after a lifetime of searching, 'like finding a beach stippled with scallop shells, all split, chipped, cracked, crushed, and then lifting one complete one out of the sand, and rinsing it in a clear sheet of water.'"
— Alison Luterman, author of Hard Listening and In the Time of Great Fires
